Mini Helicopter

Mechanical helicopter model built from 167 laser-cut plywood pieces that press together without glue or tools. Wind the rubber-band motor with the included key and it rolls forward about 1.5 meters while the main and tail rotors spin. The doors open, the searchlight adjusts, and it comes with a display helipad. About 3 hours to build, 25.2 x 11.5 x 29.5 cm assembled.

Something a kid and a parent can build together over an afternoon, and it looks good on a shelf once it's done.
