Sphero Indi

Indi navigates by reading color tiles with an on-board sensor, each color triggering a different behavior. Kids build sequences of instructions by laying tiles into a path, learning that computers need explicit, ordered commands without ever touching a screen. The student kit includes 20 silicone color tiles, 15 activity cards, and a carrying case; the free Sphero Edu Jr. app unlocks more complex programming when ready.

Kids lay out the tiles, build the path, watch it fail, move a tile, try again. All the thinking that goes into writing code is entirely physical. Works for young kids too.
