A Child's Garden of Verses

Robert Louis Stevenson's 1885 collection of poems written from a child's point of view: going to bed while it's still light out in summer, a shadow that follows you everywhere, the lamplighter passing at dusk. This edition is illustrated throughout in Tasha Tudor's soft watercolors. Hardcover, 72 pages.

The first poetry book a lot of us were read as kids, and still where most Charlotte Mason families start. Tasha Tudor's illustrations are simply beautiful.
